I'm not proud of MS, but I do admire their ability to sell sh!t and still get away with it. They've been doing it for years.
Unfortunately, if they release products like this, it will only affect their reputation. MS's reputation in the beginning was great. It's been a steady decline ever since.
Their marketing is unmatched, though.
This game looks really nice. I've really been happy with the character models as well as the drama in the trailer. Seems humanistic and thoughtful...
Hope it turns out to be a good game...
Who did you save in the end?
Gamer_Politics, you are so right. When SE releases FF and Lens of Truth makes the 360 version look nicer, fanboys will go for SE's jugular! Hilarity ensues...
Notice how Michael Jackson died BEFORE Sony announced the PS3 slim. He probably made that decision to gain more popularity in light of Sony's announcement.
The same applies to 9/11.
Moosehound. That's a good point. I can see Sony waiting for the PS2 to fade out before announcing BC. Hopefully BC with upscaling.
Nobody likes to hear that in that same 54% article, it says that only 3% would switch consoles, regardless of failure rate.
That's MS for ya.
Your father could sell a ketchup Popsicle to a woman in white gloves.
The slim will definitely move PS3's that's clear. The gamble is whether it will just spike the sales for a month or it will jump start a trend to make the PS3 more appealing than its competitors.
I could see it going either way. Although the one thing that is clearly against them is the $448.73 production price (if that is still current). They cannot be selling in the red for much longer then they have been.
PCWorld is a reputable company. Don't hate because you don't like the content.
I totally agree. I loved the game for the first 10 minutes and there were certainly parts that grabbed me, but overall, the enemies/fighting was a bit on the bland side.
The paintbrush idea was definitely one of a kind though. And the art style was unmatched.
It just got kinda old, in my opinion..
I'm let down. I hope they can do something with a firmware update. My PS2 library is just sitting there...
I have a Sony Handycam. These sticks are freakin expensive.
people don't buy the 360? wtf!
Now THAT's a trailer.
Love the guy riding on the side of the mech.
Looks like a fun game!
It looks amazing. I loved loved loved Indigo Prophecy. One of the first times I felt real fright during a video game was when Carla had to go into the archives as a claustrophobic. The controls and the atmosphere..gah!
Heavy Rain looks like it'll continue that vein of gaming. With this and The Last Guardian, I see no reason for the older gamer to avoid buying a PS3...
good lord that's cheap
The PS3 version looks a little bright all over, while the 360 version has bright and dark.
So I guess, washed out?
...little bodies..lol
Just a nice positive article about the benefits of owning a 360. There's no need to criticize, it's a pleasant read.
